Taught by Lara Goodman
Lara Goodman received her BFA from Bard College and her MFAed from MassArt. She has taught Marblehead students in grades kindergarten through three, as well as Middle School Art at The Buckingham Browne and Nichols School. As an art educator, she is driven to help students access their own visual language through exposure to varied materials, masterworks, literature, and environment. She currently maintains a painting studio at the Lydia Pinkham Building in Lynn. Her work has been exhibited at Lydia Pinkham Open Studios, The St. George Gallery, and can be found in several private collections.
Artists will work on a variety of projects that explore identity. Some projects include: Mandalas, Self- portraits, and Print making. We will work in a variety of media and look at masterworks to inform our studies.
