Yoga for the Inner Athlete
This yoga practice is designed to help you perform better in your favorite sport or activity by bringing awareness and care to areas of inflexibility or overuse, and helping to build strength in underdeveloped areas.
Unlike most sports, the non-competitive environment of the yoga class helps each person pay attention to their body and direct their energy. Breathing techniques increase mental focus while reducing stress and tension. You’ll practice a range of poses to bring your body into balance.
Join Angela Ippolito and Deb Leahy, 200-hour Yoga Teachers on Mondays and Wednesday, 6:00 PM -7:00 PM at Swampscott High School’s Dance Studio.
