Calling all outdoor enthusiasts! Are you looking for a way to freshen up your yoga practice?
It’s time to get out on the water and enjoy the summer sun. During this workshop, we will give you a brief lesson on how to paddle before taking a short paddle to our anchor spot. The Yoga practice will be a flow class with a strong emphasis on linking breath to movement as we bond with Mother Nature. This connection to breath helps to draw the student’s attention inward and allows for a deepening in each pose. Our work will focus on core strength and balance which will help keep you grounded on your board.
This class is suited for all levels and requires no paddle board experience. Come take your practice to playful next level.
Please arrive 30 minutes early to be fitted to your board & paddle, and to receive our required and complimentary lesson of basic SUP 101 instruction with the instructors of SUP East Coast Style before we hit the water.
Please bring a change of clothes. Layers of warmth for after is best. Bring your beach chair, a beach towel or blanket to enjoy s’mores and a beach bonfire awaiting you after the workshop.
What to wear?
SPF sunscreen (best brands are reef safe and made for “sports” so your not slippery), wick- dry clothing, spandex like material. We do not recommend cotton blends.
This is a 90 minute workshop, but plan to arrive 30 minutes early.
