Lights! Camera! Action! Make your stories come to life in Swampscott High School’s Studio Blue. From conception to final presentation, students will work in small groups to create short films, first understanding what makes a good story, and then learning how to use advanced cameras, mics, stabilization and editing tools to create the film.
We will have a short screening at the end of the camp to present the films to our audience, and all films will air on Swampscott Educational Access TV and on our web channel.
Students with no previous video experience will be taught the basics, while students who already have experience can build on their skills.
This program is taught by Joe Douillette, the high school TV/Film Production teacher, along with Swampscott High School TV students and recent graduates.
